Tape options and pricing

While it is recommend that you incorporate disk-to-disk backup solutions, if needed, we provide tape backup and services for additional fees.

Note We highly recommend performing a complete backup and restore on test data prior to depending on backups for live data. This will familiarize you with the Ultrabac software and help ensure backups are complete and dependable.

NE-DataCentre is not a reseller of UltraBac products. NE-DataCentre maintains the full rights to all purchased UltraBac products in accordance with NE-DataCentre's licensing agreement. NE-DataCentre provides its customers with the use of UltraBac licensed software and services as outlined above and in accordance with NE-DataCentre's standard specification of service and Master Services Agreement.

Specification of Service

As a NE-DataCentre customer, you already benefit from our superior technology and expert staff. Your monthly UltraBac service includes the following:

  • ability to execute and administer your disk backups and restores on your dedicated server(s)
  • online support documentation and information
  • email notification of backup errors
  • NE-DataCentre will install and setup UltraBac services on your dedicated server(s)
  • NE-DataCentre will pre-configure your backup schedule for daily differential and weekly full backup
  • any hardware failures are our responsibility: NE-DataCentre replaces failed hardware but is not liable for downtime or loss of data that results from hardware failure
  • restoration: in the event of a disk drive failure, NE-DataCentre will replace failed hardware - once restored, you will need to select and restore the files from backup as you prefer
  • in the event of hardware failure with Disaster Recovery Agent, NE-DataCentre will replace hardware and perform a full system reboot from designated storage disk drive
  • server monitoring: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year - we monitor your server and UltraBac software integrity - NE-DataCentre performs UltraBac software upgrades as available
  • customer may perform backups on their dedicated server or Enterprise server via disk-to-disk format and FTP backup data as needed
